C.A.R.E.S

At Golden Gate Montessori, we recognize that academic excellence begins with a strong foundation in social-emotional learning. That’s why the first month of every school year is dedicated to teaching our students C.A.R.E.S, inspired by the Responsive Classroom strategy. C.A.R.E.S—Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control—are the cornerstones of our community. Through interactive activities, role-playing, and guided discussions, children develop the essential skills to navigate relationships, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their actions. By prioritizing C.A.R.E.S at the start of the year, we create a harmonious and supportive environment where every child feels valued and equipped to thrive, setting the stage for meaningful learning and personal growth throughout the year.

Hybrid Curriculum

Going into the 2nd month of each school year, Golden Gate Montessori’s hybrid curriculum sets us apart by seamlessly blending the time-honored principles of Montessori education with the dynamic, forward-thinking elements of STEM and the arts. Within our carefully prepared environment, children are empowered to engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that nurture critical thinking, creativity, and independence. From exploring scientific concepts and engineering challenges to embracing the beauty of language, cultural studies, and music, our program inspires young learners to connect deeply with the world around them.

Holistic Approach
